The consultation on the East Devon Local Plan: Publication Plan (Regulation 19) is now live. Consultation closes at 9:00am on Monday 31 March 2025 and comments should be submitted by the date/time. East Devon District Council is intending to submit the East Devon Local Plan to the Secretary of State in Autumn 2025 for examination.
The East Devon Local Plan is the local plan for land within the East Devon District Council administrative boundary for the period to 2042, though noting policy reference is made to development beyond this date. The Local Plan allocates sites for development for new homes, employment and other uses and contains policies for the determination of planning applications.
