Combe Raleigh is a small,  picturesque village just 1.5 miles from Honiton, it is set in the Blackdown Hills National Landscape but also borders the East Devon National Landscape.

The village has a beautiful 14th Century Church, St Nicholas, with an active bell ringing group. There is also a Village Hall. Both have a regular calendar of social events taking place throughout the year. Organised by resident volunteers, some of the events have a history stretching back many years, reflecting the interest, involvement and enthusiasm that this vibrant community generates.

Events range from fortnightly coffee mornings to a regular playgroup, Little Critters (see update here), on Tuesday mornings at the Village Hall. There are also socials held almost every month, such as Bingo, Quizzes, Car Treasure Hunts, Barbecues, Bonfire Night, Fun Day and more, organised by the Village Hall Committee.

The church holds services on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month at 11.15am to which everyone is welcome. Its established fundraising events include an annual Snowdrop Tea in February and Plant Sale in May.

The village also produces a bi-monthly newsletter, The Raleigh Rag, which is available on-line and in print. The printed copy is distributed throughout the village by volunteers.

The village has regular Parish Meetings with the past minutes and information about upcoming meetings posted here.
