Help to shape the future of the Blackdown Hills National Landscape. We are now inviting comments on the draft Management Plan for 2025 – 2030.
The Management Plan sets out the ambitions and approach for managing the Blackdown Hills National Landscape. Such a special place requires careful and considered management by all those who have a responsibility towards it, with the purpose of our designation being to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the area. This plan aims to balance conservation with community needs, ensuring the Blackdown Hills remain a vibrant and sustainable landscape for future generations.
All the information is on our website: Management plan – Blackdown Hills National Landscape where you can view or download the draft plan and access the survey response form.
We are aware this is a large document to go through, but we would really appreciate your input by commenting on this draft.
The consultation period runs to 5.00pm on 4th March. Responses are preferred via the online survey (Microsoft Forms), and you do not have to comment on every section – please feel free to comment on as much or as little as is relevant to you or your organisation.
If you have any questions or would like to request a printed version/alternative format then please do get in touch.
We look forward to hearing from you.
