The NHS Health Check is a free assessment of your overall health and can help identify whether you’re at increased risk of developing certain conditions, such as:
- Heart disease
- Diabetes
- Kidney disease
- Stroke
During the appointment, our team will also provide personalised advice on how to reduce the risk of these conditions.
The eligibility criteria for a NHS Health Check is listed below:
- Are aged between 40 and 74
- Have not had an NHS Health Check in the past 5 years
- Do not have certain pre-existing conditions (e.g. heart disease, chronic kidney disease, atrial fibrillation, diabetes, or high blood pressure)
